Secretary of Lagos State Football Association, Rabiu-Okikioposu Akeem has assured that this year’s Lagos FA Cup final would be glamorous and better organised than previous editions.
The NNL team, Ikorodu City would face Smart City feeders Sunday afternoon in the Lagos FA Cup final by 3pm at the Onikan stadium.
In the female category final, a premier club, FC Robo Queens would clash with Dannaz Ladies by 1pm at the same stadium.
Akeem said they are ready to make this year’s edition better than previous years and promised football fans well organised football final.
“We try to improve in each year for Lagos FA Cup final and we are working seriously to make this year’s edition surpass the previous one.The two finalists are the best teams in Lagos and they are going to impress their fans with good football artistry.
“On our own part, we are going to make the venue comfortable for the fans and invited guests.Our security network is in intact, the officials are ready to give their best and all the arrangements have been put in place to organise a successful event,”he said.
Akeem however charged the football fans not to take law into their hands during or after the match saying that any fan forments trouble would be sanctioned accordingly.
