Lagos Atlanta Sister Committee Chair, Prof Esogbue Received D’CEM Award

The founding Chairman of Lagos Atlanta Sister City Committee, Professor Emeritus Augustine O Esogbue NNOM was at the weekend in Atlanta, Georgia, USA honoured and celebrated by the organisers of D’CEM Awards.

The Professor Emeritus at Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta was bestowed with the Lifetime Achievement Honour Award alongside Lagos Atlanta Sister Committee Member Professor Femi Ajayi on 22 July 2023

For 14 years now, the D’CEM Awards has served as a platform of recognition for individuals who have made significant contributions in their respective fields.

Distinguished African, American and Caribbean celebrities, some of whom are icons of the entertainment industry, captains of industries, philanthropists and humanitarians, are frequently in attendance and recipients of the D’CEM Awards.

The D’CEM Awards ceremony is being organised by Dr. Debby Goodnews Silas, publisher and founder of Debby Classique Entertainment Magazine.

The awards were presented to humanitarians, exceptional leaders, notable as well as up-and-coming entertainers. Lifetime achievement awards, legendary awards, influencers awards, artist awards, as well as authors and media personality awards will feature in the programme of the day.
