The final burial rites of Lady Bernadette Chinwendu Njemanze, wife of Sir Eva Njemanze, Owerri Metropolitan Grand Knight of the Knights of St. Mulumba (KSM), concluded on October 19, 2025, with a solemn Outing and Thanksgiving Mass at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Douglas Road, Owerri.
The ceremony, held during the 11:00 a.m. Mass, provided an opportunity for Sir Eva Njemanze, his family, and friends to express gratitude for the successful completion of Lady Njemanze’s burial rites, which culminated in her interment on October 15, 2025.
In his homily, Very Rev. Fr. Charles Ikwuegbu, Parish Priest of St. Paul’s Catholic Church, urged the bereaved family to find solace in God’s divine will, noting that Lady Njemanze had completed her earthly journey in faith. He encouraged them to continue remembering her in their prayers, emphasizing that this spiritual devotion is the most meaningful tribute they can offer her now.

The Mass was attended by prominent officials of the Owerri Metropolitan Council of KSM, including Sir Augonus Uhegbu, Worthy Deputy Metro Grand Knight; Sir Chris Onyewuchi, Worthy Metro Secretary; Sir Philip Okonkwo, Worthy Metro Treasurer; and Sir (Dr.) Gordian Nwambara, Worthy Physician, among others.
