Labour Party Loses Again In Lagos, Tribunal Upholds APC Rep’s Victory In Apapa

Members of All Progressives Congress (APC) from Apapa Federal Constituency stormed the tribunal sitting at the Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS) in Lagos to celebrate the victory of Hon. Dr. Adedayo Adesola Samuel (JIM-SAM), following the judgement that upheld his election as the duly elected Member House of Representatives, Apapa Federal Constituency, in the February 25th General Election.

The jubilation follows the dismissal of the suit filed by Hon. Eunice Atuejide of Labour Party (LP) filed a petition challenging Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on the declaration of Hon. Dr. Adedayo Adesola Samuel (JIM-SAM) as the winner of February 25th National Assembly Election for Apapa Federal Constituency.

The three-man panel led by Justice Faruku H. Bunza at the National Assembly Election Tribunal sitting at the Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS) in Lagos on Tuesday dismissed the petition brought by Atuejide on the ground that it lacks merit, and it needs befitting burial.

The tribunal upheld the victory of Hon. Dr. Adedayo Adesola Samuel as the duly elected Member House of Representatives, Apapa Federal Constituency.
