Former Team360 Football Club player, Kazeem Bolaji Soliu has made his debut for Spartak Trvana in the European conference League Thursday night against Newton FC.
It was a memorable day for the 19yrs old and a dream come true when he came in for Martin Mikovic in the 68mins. Spartak trnava defeated Newton fc 4-1 and hattrick was scored by fellow compatriot Bamidele Yusuf and Alex Ivan.
Bolaji who was out for two months due to injury sustained last season in the quarter final of the Slovan cup where the club eventually won the trophy.
Speaking after his debut in European Conference League, Kazeem said he was happy to be back and stronger. He disclosed that it has not been easy for him to stay out for long but thanked God that for returning to action again.
“I am happy for coming back to the pitch and making my debut in the European championship.Although it has not been easy for me staying out for long but thank God that i am back and feeling stronger.I am using this medium to thank my coaches, teammates and my manager Mr Hamza Akeem for the moral support given me when I was in Nigeria,” he said.
In his own comment,Kazeem Manager, Akeem Hamzat thanked God for the progress of the player noted that Kazeem was a committed and dedicated player while he was with Team360. :We are glad he is back and most importantly it’s a joy to behold seeing one of our product who had been with us since age 12 and now playing in European conference league, it’s a great achievement for us as a team and most importantly the player who has been working so hard to be where he is now ” he said.
