KAO Foundation has commended the students and primary pupils for their outstanding performances at the recent just concluded 1st summer coaching classes held at the Holy Trinity Primary School,Isale-Eko,Lagos Island.
The pupils and students drawn from primary 4 to 6 classes and students of JSS 1 to 3 engaged themselves in the areas of debate, poetic recitations, cultural display to mention a few, keeping audience spell-bound.
Founder of the foundation, Prince Taiwo Ajibade Oyekan confessed that it was an amazing and wholesome experience to see participants exhibiting their innate talent in pursuit for academic exploits.
He said the summer coaching classes had lived up to expectations noted that all the participating students and pupils gave a good account of themselves.
“I must commend the participants for the job well done.This summer coaching classes showed that we have enough brilliant students and pupils in our schools today.I also want to commend those who made this programme a huge success and I promise to continue to support my own little way to the educational development on Lagos Island,”he said.
Meanwhile Kanyinsola Karimo Yusuf emerged as the winner of the debate contest, and then went ahead to receive relevant education items along with other pupils/students with outstanding academic performance.
Oyekan gave a scholarship award to Kanyinsola Karimo Yusuf for demonstrating phenomenal and exceptional academic dexterity more than her peers.
According to him,the scholarship award will take care of her education expenses from now till the end of her secondary education.
