Report from Nigerian federal capital Abuja says the police operatives on Tuesday evening, swooped on a residential building at No. 15, Ganges Street, Maitama.
During the operation, a gang who are specialist in manipulating the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) an electronic device designed to read Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) and authenticate voters 2as arrested.
This followed a tip off from unidentified sources that the location was being used as a base to manipulate last Saturday’s elections.
The News Presicope quoted a news item on Arise News Channel, that the police recovered numerous BVAS machines and several laptops and desktop computers, as well as other technology materials.Â
Also, several suspects were arrested. Police have launched a manhhunt for several other suspects involved in the matter.
The arrested suspects are now helping the Police with their investigations.
