Organisers of the JOF U-13 Kids Cup have agreed to register 64 football academies to take part in this year’s edition.
The annual competition is being sponsored by JOF Nigeria Limited as part of its corporate social responsibilities and commitment to grassroots fooball development in Lagos.
At the recent meeting held by local organising committee headed by Ganiu Ajibola confirmed that 64 football academies within the state are allowed to come for their registration forms before closing date.
“Presently teams have started registering with us but we still need more teams in Lagos.The competition has a name and every football academy would like to play the tournament.
“We are not going to extend the closing date which 28th of this month.That is why we are announcing to the public that interested academies should come to us and get their registration forms before the closing date,”he said.
Ajibola disclosed that the titled sponsor may increase the prize money following the huge success of the past editions and promised that this year’s edition would be better organised.
