Al-Nassr have appointed Portuguese manager Jorge Jesus on Monday to take charge of the Saudi Arabia club, barely two months after he left their bitter rivals Al-Hilal.
The appointment which was reported by Reuters now makes the Portuguese join his fellow compatriot, Cristiano Ronaldo who joined the Saudi Arabia club in 2023.
Ronaldo’s contract which has been extended to 2027 will see him work hand in hand with Jesus to enable them actualize the goals of the club.
The 70-year-old who won the domestic treble in his second stint with Riyadh-based Al-Hilal in 2023/24 has been given a one-year contract.
“It’s official Mr. Jorge Jesus is the new coach of Al-Nassr” the Saudi Arabia club posted on X. His appointment makes him replace Italian gaffer Stefano Pioli.
