SGFC Athletic Football Club will battle 36 Lion Football Club in the final of the Jagaban Cup scheduled to be held on Thursday morning at the FIFA legacy pitch of the national stadium, Surulere, Lagos.
SGFC Athletic won all their matches in group B to have maximum points and top the table irrespective of other results in the group.
Early today SGFC Athletic pip Imperial FA 1-0, and defeated Dino FC 2-1.In their opening match, SGFC Athletic humbled Ijebu United 3-2 to top the table with 9 points.
In group A, 36 Lion started their opening match with a 2-0 victory over Ikorodu City Football Academy, also defeated Broad City 3-2 and played 1-1 with FC Bethel.
36 Lion top their group with 7 points followed by Ikorodu City Football Academy with 6 points.
Each group winners in both groups automatically book a place in the final.
