Attention would be shifted to semifinal palace playground, Alimosho, Lagos, as Igando Football Club tackle Bucknor Football Club in one of the semifinal of Iyke Madu Obi Ramadan Cup scheduled to hold on Tuesday evening.
The two teams met three years ago in the final, but Igando football team triumphed over their opponents.
Tuesday’s match would be another cracker as both teams are rivalry in Igando and its environs.
Although the current form of Igando FA in the competition is very impressive, but Bucknor who crashed out in the round of 32 of last Lagos FA Cup would fight to the finish.
Igando Coach, Mohammed Aberejo admitted that the match would be tough, but his boys are in good form to go all the way to the final.
“It is going to be a tough game for us because Bucknor are a good side. Let me say this, we are not going to lose the game because we are fully prepared to win our opponents comes Tuesday evening,” he said.
In the second semi final scheduled for Thursday, Kay Properties would face Future Hero to decide who plays in the final.
Match cordinator, Prince Sulaiman Gbadamosi said the tourney has reached a crucial stage and urged the teams to play to the rules.
“I am using this medium to urge the teams to abide by the rules and regulations. There are some teams who are indebted to us and they should pay their outstanding bills before their next game,” he said.
