Plans to mark the 2025 Imo State University Alumni Association (IMSUAA) Convention and Home-Coming are gradually taking flamboyant shape as arrangements have been made by the Lagos Chapter (Power House) to have two of her professional artiste perform during the event.
This development was revealed on Sunday by the Power House Convention planning committee chairman, Mr. Ugochukwu Anaemeje (DG) during the Chapter’s General meeting while unveiling plans on how the chapter will actively take part in the Convention which comes up in August.
“We are on track towards ensuring that we contribute our quota towards making the home-coming a success and one of the ways we can do that is to have two artistes (La-Ghost and Starblaze) who are from our chapter thrill Imo Stars during the event” a delighted Ugochukwu revealed.
“We have contacted the National Organizing Secretary, Indaphino, who happens to be the Chairman of the Main Organizing Committee about our plans and she has given us the go-ahead”. “The performance of these two artists will not just make the event more flamboyant but it will also give room for Stars to know about them and appreciate the fact that we have talents in the area of entertainment who are looking forward to hitting stardom”.
The two artistes who will storm Owerri for the convention from Lagos chapter are Anyiam Uchechi Cynthia (La-Ghost) and Austin U. Ekwenye (Starblaze). La-Ghost who studied Philosophy once featured in 2Face Idibia’s track “Big Masquerade” and has had several other demos, while Starblaze who studied Government And Public Administration made his first single track titled “PVC” in 2023. He is currently working on a new song titled “EP” and it may likely be unveiled in August 2025 during the Annual Convention.
The IMSUAA 2025 Convention which will hold from August 14th-17th, 2025 in Owerri, the Imo State Capital City will afford Stars across the country an opportunity to converge and address topical issues affecting the development of her members and institution, it will also serve as a second home-coming providing platform for network, leverage, relaxation amongst others.
