Magboro head coach, Ganiu Abayomi Shobola has expressed optimistic that his team can still emerge as champions of the ongoing Ikeja Divisional Football Super 4 taking place at the Alade Sport center, Ipaja command, Alimosho, Lagos.
Magboro lost 3-0 to Bucknor FC in their opening match but defeated Shuffle Select 3-0 on Tuesday afternoon to brighten their chances of winning the league.
With this Victory, Magboro have three points, Bucknor have four points after playing one goal apiece with G Innovation.
Magboro need outright victory over G Innovation in their last match and pray for Bucknor and Shuffle Select to end in stalemate so that they can emerge as champions.
Shobola told our correspondent that his team have equal chance with Bucknor and Shuffle Select saying that anything short of victory against G Innovation on Thursday afternoon would be a disaster for the club.
“We are still in the race likewise Shuffle Select and Bucknor.We are not bother or worried the position we occupy on the table.We want to focus on our last match against G Innovation and we are going for a win.
“If we cannot win our last match, we should forget the winning the super four.It is going to be tough for all the teams and i believe that Magboro would come out victorious,”he said.
Meanwhlie Bucknor face Shuffle Select by 11am, while Magboro tackle G Innovation by 1pm at the Alade Sport center Ipaja command, Alimosho, Lagos.
