Middlesbrough boss, Michael Carrick believes that Super Eagles forward Kelechi Iheanacho who came on loan to the club has just opened his goal account and will score more after he scored in Boro’s 2-1 win against Oxford on Saturday.
According to Carrick, Kelechi Iheanacho has scored his first of many goals for Middlesbrough.
“He is happy. We are trying to keep the smile off Neto’s face as much as anything! He was delighted too,” Carrick remarked.
“But Kel knows it. He has played at a level, and goals make you feel a bit better, naturally.
“I wasn’t concerned, I knew he would score and hopefully he has got more in him, I am sure he has. It was a massive goal for us.”

The former Leicester City forward who is on loan from Spanish La Liga side Sevilla has now gotten the backing of the boss to kick on from that first strike.
