The much awaited Iyk Madu Obi Ramadan Cup final would hold Sunday evening at the Igando palace playground, Alimosho, Lagos.
To reach the final stage, Igando Football Club defeated Bucknor 7-6 after one goal apiece at the regulation time in the semi final, while Future Hero also shocked Kay Properties 2-0 to book a place in the final.
Igando boys had earlier defeated Future Hero 6-2 in the group stage but tomorrow’s game would be tough for Igando Boys as they would be under pressure before their teeming fans.
Igando FC according to some bookmakers have tipped them to win the title as their performances in the competition are very impressive.
On the other hands, nobody gave Future Hero a chance to reach the final when the competition kicked off some weeks ago and they are ready to give their opponents a run for their money comes tomorrow (Sunday)
The third place match would hold by 1pm tomorrow between Kay Properties and Bucknor.
Match cordinator, Prince Sulaiman Gbadamosi thanked the participants for their commitment to the tournament and commended the fans for supporting their teams to victory.
Among the invited guests that would grace the occasion are,Prince Gbadamosi Adeyemi Dauda, Leader of the House Igando Ikotun LCDA, Deputy Leader,Hon Ganiu Wahab Balogun, Elder David Akere,Adeola Olaleye, and All Stars exco from Igando and Egan.
Gbadamosi also thanked Mr Fruit and sports philanthropist, Iyk Madu Obi, friends and well wishers for their support for the competition.
Meanwhile Sheun Makinwa of Igando FC is leading top scorers with 6 goals.
