A well known football community club in Alimosho, Igando Football Club would face NLO team, Dream 2 Reality Football Academy in a friendly match scheduled to hold on Monday by 1pm at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena popularly known as Onikan Stadium.
The friendly match would give both teams an opportunity to test their newly recruited players ahead of new season.
Igando boys who recently lost Awori Unity Cup final are expected to give their opponents a run for their money.
Speaking ahead of the encounter, team manage of Igando FC,Habeeb Bello said the friendly match is an opportunity for his team to be exposed and bring the players to the limelight.
“The essence of this friendly match is to expose our boys to the new environment and face a tougher team that can bring the best out of them.
“This is the time we need to project these young players because they are at their best now.I am happy that they are going to face NLO team in few days now,”he said.
Bello confirmed that the players were motivated and ready to give their best on Monday’s encounter.
He, however, urged them to remain focused and do away with unnecessary distraction before and during the game.
Speaking in the same vein, coach of Igando FC, Mohammed Aberejo expressed satisfaction with the commitment of the players in training and urged the boys to be tactically discipline on the pitch.
