The ongoing Henry Nwosu Cup of 2024/25 edition has reached the semifinal stage as teams are now to know what they will get for prize money.
According to reliable source from the Naze Football Federation (NFF), the total sum for winner and other teams as well as outstanding individuals as made available by the main sponsor Mr Nacho Urewuji will be a sum of four hundred and thirty five thousand naira(N435,000).
A breakdown of the said sum shows that the winner will go home with N200,000 in total package, which also includes the appearance fee for participating teams.
Runners up will go home with N150,000 while the remaining four teams who participated but did not reach the final will go home with N15,000 each. However, Okpuala who were banned from the tournament will be stripped off their financial rights despite participating in the tournament.
The best player and highest goal scorer will go home with N5000 each while the best behaved team will cart away with N15K.
Umuakali will face Umuosu in the first semifinal match which holds today while Umuezuo will slug it out tomorrow with Umuorie.
