Strategic partners to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), GTI Asset Management and Trust Limited has stepped up its marketing engagements with Partners/Sponsors and investors for the elite league and assured stakeholders of Nigerian football of its commitment to the development of our beautiful game.
Head of Media & Publicity of GTI/TNFF, Andrew Ekejiuba revealed this in a press statement made available to sports journalists in Lagos on Monday.
The veteran sports journalist and author confirmed that GTI marketing team is led by The Nigeria Football Fund (TNFF) Project Director, Nelson Ine to secure Partners/Sponsors and investors that will collaborate for the development of the NPFL.
GTI has continued to receive massive commendations and accolades from stakeholders of Nigerian football following their immense contributions towards the successful operations and hosting of the NPFL 2022/2023 Championships Play-offs in Lagos in which the winners Enyimba International Football Club of Aba received a whooping prize money of N100million and a giant trophy courtesy of GTI, unprecedented in the history of the elite League.
“GTI has officially commenced engagements with Partners/Sponsors and Investors to partner with the NPFL. The process is ongoing and we are making huge progress in this regard based on the interest expressed by prospective partners.
“GTI also wants to build on the successes achieved at the just concluded 2022/2023 season and reposition the league using international best practices as our guide. We are aware that expectations are very high ahead of the 2023/2024 season and we at GTI are equal to the task,” Ekejiuba assured.
He further revealed that the Partnership/Sponsorship packages for would-be Partners have been categorized into four, namely; Title Partner, Official Partners, Associate Partners and Regional Partners.
Ekejiuba however called on Corporate organizations and investors to utilize this investment window to invest in the NPFL/TNFFproject and enjoy huge financial benefits on their Return on Investment.
He thanked the media for their huge support last season and charged them not to relent in promoting the NPFL which is currently undergoing serious structural and fundamental changes.
