Madestone Football Academy based in Ibadan, Oyo State Nigeria recently received a notable international guest, Sebastian, a German football enthusiast who paid a visit to the academy centre, LEADBRITISH school,Jericho, Ibadan, after following its activities on social media.
Sebastian’s visit provided an opportunity to observe firsthand the academy’s training structure, coaching quality, and overall professionalism.
Speaking after watching the training sessions of the academy, he expressed admiration for the high standards maintained by the academy, noting that the level of organization and technical development among the young players was impressive.
Addressing the players, Sebastian counselled the kids to show more seriousness in the training and encouraged them to take full advantage of the rare opportunity so that they can be a professional footballers in future.
He emphasized the importance of commitment not only to football but also to their education and describing both as essential pathways to long-term success.

“You are fortunate to be in an environment like this.Stay dedicated, keep working hard, and balance your sport with your studies,”said Sebastian who admonished the young players to marry both football and education together.
The German football expert who was impressed with the standard of training providing for the kids also commended the coaching crew and management staff for their commitment during the training sessions and urged them not to rest on their oars.
He confessed that what he observed at the training sessions in Madestone Football Academy is comparable to what he witnessed in parts of Europe and North America, a remark that highlights the academy’s growing reputation for excellence.
The visit serves as further validation of Madestone Football Academy’s developmental approach and commitment to grassroots football.
