Former Golden Eaglets Coach, Nduka Ugbade has commended Prince Kazeem Eletu Football Club following their impressive performance against Nathaniel Idowu Academy known as Nath Boys in a friendly match played on Thursday at the FIFA legacy pitch of national stadium, Surulere, Lagos.
The highly entertaining match ended in 2-2 draw as fans were elated with the football artistry of both teams in the encounter watched by hundreds of fans
Ugbade who is the technical director of Nath Boys told our correspondent after the match that their opponents gave them a run for their money and particularly showered praises on Prince Kazeem Eletu strikers who were on rampage throughout the encounter.
“Honestly it was a good outings for both teams and particularly Eletu boys who were hungry for sucess.Eletu players especially their strikers were fantastic today.They really played to my expectations and I must commend their backroom staff and the management team for bringing these young players together and play good football which I believe if they can continue like this, Prince Kazeem Eletu boys would go places in their footballing career,”he said.
Meanwhile Mohammed Bashir opened the goal scoring for Eletu boys before Nath Boys quickly retaliated through Ayodeji Arowomole.
The first half ended in one goal apiece.The second half gave the two teams to dazzling around the ball and entertained with their football artistry.
David Igwe who was adjudged as man of the match scored a spectacular goal to send Eletu boys into wild jubilation.
The jubilation was short-lived as Arowomole cancelled the goal deficit to bring the game into the stalemate.
Reacting to the match, Eletu Coach, Isreal Adegolu expressed satisfaction with the performance of his boys saying that his boys were better against their opponents.
“It was an impressive match and my boys were on top of their game. I am thrilled with the accolades showered on my boys by Ugbade. This is to tell you that our boys are developing and doing well at their level presently,” he said.
