Defending Champions,Sansan Boys would begin defence of their Football Fiesta title against newcomers, Value Paints Football Club on Sunday afternoon.
The official opening match would get underway on Sunday by 3pm at the Sansan football pitch,Igando,Alimosho,Igando.
Value paint boys who came to the tournament for the first time would face Herculean task in the home and away format tournament.
At the draw ceremony held recently, the tournament was designed in an home and away format while the results of the two legged matches would decide who qualify for the round of 16.
Speaking ahead of Sunday opening match,captain of Sansan Boys, Lanre Boluwatife boasted that his teamates are in good form to face their opponents saying that anything short of victory would be a huge disappointment.
“We are coming to this tournament to defend the title we won last year.We are fully ready and we want to take each match one after the other.I know it is going to be a tough competition for us but we are ready to face any team that come to our way,”he said.
Addressing the participants at the draw ceremony, chairman organising committee, Habeeb Bello expressed delight with the commitment of the teams and warned them to shun social vices throughout the tournament.

“We thank God for the successful draws and we also appreciate the presence of our club representatives who were in attendance during our draws.We want to use this medium to assure all the participating teams fair officiating and equal treatments,”he said.
Bello said the committee would not condone any form of rascality during the tournament noted that any team found guilty would be punished accordingly.
“This is a competition where we don’t accept any form of indiscipline.We are very organised and our rules are clear in area of indiscipline so coaches,club owners should caution their players and supporters during and after the game,”he said.
Meanwhile two matches would hold on Monday when Sunshine FA face Mbah Logistics FC by 2pm, while Future Stars tackle Liam’s Height Academy by 4pm.
Action resumes on Tuesday as Hearts of Lions battle Wolves by 2pm, while Prime FC face King FC by 4pm.
On Wednesday,Future Guys tackle Baku FC by 2pm as Casamigoos Sports tackle Future Stars 99 by 4pm.
