Chairman Ifedapo Community development Association, Omobolaji Jenkeo has commended Chairman Mushin Local Government, Emmanuel Bamigboye for his finacial reward to one Ifeanyi Ugochi who rescued landlord during the fire explosion.
The fire explosion occurred at the No 5, Ojo Road, Mushin some days ago.Before the fire service arrived the scene, Ugochi singlehandedly saved an aged landlord who remained at home during the fire explosion.
Alhaji Aliu Shekoni, Special Adviser on Community Matters to the Mushin Council boss chairman presented undisclosed amount of money to Ugochi in the presence of Ifedapo CDA executive members.
Jenkeo and his executive members who were delighted with kind gesture the council boss extended to Ugochi saying that Ugochi rendered selfless work without being paid after rescuing the landlord.
“We the Ifedapo Community Development expressed gratitude to the council boss for his finacial reward to Mr Ugochi who resuced landlord from inferno.Ugochi has really exhibited selfless service which really helped him at the end of the day,”he said.
Jenkeo also commended DPO Mushin Police Station, SP Garuba who personally rewarded Ugochi financially for the job well done and urged the youths to channel their energy to communal works instead of involving in social vices that can threaten the lives and security of the community.
