Chairman Badagry Divisional Football Association, Dr Martins Osondu has received tremendous congratulatory messages on his birthday saying that he is humbled with the prayers, wishes and calls and reinstated his commitment to the grassroots football development in Badagry and its environs.
Osondu who is also among the members of executive Lagos State Football Coaches Association expressed gratitude to God to see another year in his life and promised to take football to the next level during his adminstration.
“Today is a special day in my life and i thank God that i am added a year older today.When i woke up this morning, i saw uncountable congratulatory messages, prayers, wishes and calls on my phone.I cannot imagine that people love me so much like this.
“I am using this medium to thank my colleagues in the coaching profession, and other football stakeholders who sent messages, prayers, and wishes to me.I cannot take you for granted and i thank you for the love you showed to me and my family at this moment when our country is still facing economic challenges.May God bless you all,”he said.
Osondu however said he still committed to Badagry league and other football programmes line up and urged his coaches and stakeholders to rally round the association to take football to the next level.
