Following a letter from the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) signed by Ali Abubakar Mohammed, Head Member Association and Special Duties on the behalf of the General Secretary, that advised all State FAs that have already conducted their Local Council elections and the tenure of the elected officers has not expired, to send the duly signed list of the elected members to the office of the Secretary-General, Ekiti State Football Association has equally sent directives in this regards to the State Local Football Councils.
In its letter to all the state local football councils signed by FA Secretary, Pelumi Abiara, it stated thus; “As advised by the Nigeria Football Federation, from which the powers to operate were drawn, I am directed to advise all organisations affiliated with the Ekiti State Football Association to proceed in organising and conducting elections of Executive Committee Members.
“This exercise must be conducted between February and March, 2023, with the list of the elected officers sent to the State FA, fir onward passage to the NFF Secretary-General,” the letter concluded.
