After two weeks intensive matches, eight teams have finally booked a place in the quarter final at the ongoing U-10 Holiday Gold Cup taking place at the Ijegun playground, Ijegun, Alimosho, Lagos
In the quarter final pairing released by the organisers, all quarter final matches holds on Monday from morning.
Super accurate FA face Radiant FA by 10am,Balo tackle Sammy FA by 11am, while White Soccer taken on Starlet dynamos by noon as Heart of Lion confront Barcelona by 1pm.
Match Coordinator,Samuel Haruna disclosed that the competition was organised to keep the kids busy during their long term holiday and urged the team’s coaches to always abide by the rules of the competition.
He further explained that the competition has attracted sports stakeholders in the community and commended participating teams for their good football display.
“Our U-10 Holiday Gold Cup has received commendations from the fans and residents of Ijegun.All the teams paraded players within the age bracket and they were able to live up to expectations in terms of performance and standard of play,”he said.
