..prays for a better Nigeria
As Muslim faithfuls all over the world celebrates Eid El-Kabir Wednesday, President of Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF), Engr. Ahmadu Musa Kida, has sent out a congratulatory message to felicitate with them on the auspicious occasion.
Kida thanked God for the occasion, even as he remarked that the celebration of Eid El-Kabir is a very special occasion in the lives of Muslim faithfuls.
“This is indeed, a very special occasion for all Muslim faithfuls in the world. It is a time to show love, kindness and thank Allah, in retrospect of his love and magnanimity for mankind.
“On behalf of myself, family and friends, and particularly, all the members of Nigeria Basketball community, home and abroad, I thank God for keeping us all alive and in good health to celebrate this great occasion.
“I use this occasion as a contact point to pray that Allah in His infinite mercies continue to guide, guard and bless our leaders and everyone of us, as we seek for a better, peaceful, united and prosperous nation,” the highly regarded sport administrator prayed solemnly.
