A Lagos-based NLO team, Dosu Joseph Football Club would clash against Arepo Bombers Football Club in the final of Afeez Aremu football competition
The competition whick kick off some weeks ago is being sponsored by former player of Dosu Joseph FC who is now plying his trade abroad.
The pulsating final holds on Tuesday morning by 8am at the Rehabilitation Sport centre, Ojodu Berger, Lagos
To qualify for the final stage, Dosu Joseph FC defeated Gemstone FC 2-1, while Arepo Bombers humbled Excel FC 3-1 in the second semi final.
The two finalists have not lost a single match on their way to the final.Dosu Boys are favourite to win the cup considering their football pedigree in the state but their opponents are equal to the task and ready to prove bookmakers wrong.
A total of nine teams began the race as best teams reached the final stage.
Meanwhile, the cup donor,Afeez Aremu expressed satisfaction with the standard of play by the participating teams noted that the final would be kneely contested for the both teams.
He explained that sponsoring a tournament of this magnitude is a way of giving back to society and encourage the young footballers to come to limelight.
