Organisers of the just concluded Democracy Day Cup which held at Igando, Alimosho, Lagos were impressed with the kids who participated in the tournament, and they were rewarded with gift Items for the job well done.
The two days event was put together by Prince Gas Global Concept as part of its football development in Igando and its environs.
Match coordinator, Prince Sulaiman Gbadamosi expressed gratitude to God for the success of the event saying that all the participants were given gift Items for honouring the invitations.
He however extended the gift items to outstanding players of the tournament and thanked Mr Frut Company for its continued supports.
“We try as much as possible to give all the teams Mr Frut and other items as a way of encouraging the kids.All the teams performed well and the kids were able to showcase their God given talents throughout the event,”he said.
Meanwhile moret than100 kids from various academies took part in U-10 and 13 categories as winners emerged in both categories.
In U-10 final,Marvelous FC, defeated young Tigers FC 3-0 on penalties after one goal apiece at the regulation time while White Soccer Temple Academy walloped Badro FC 3-1 in U-13 category.
In U-13 category final,Ademola Lawrence opened the goal scoring for Badro FC in the 8th minutes before Ezekiel Peter scored hattrick for White Soccer Temple to emerge as the champions.
During the award presentation in U-10 category,Anyim Marvelous adjudged as most valuable player for Marvelous FC as Kenny Moses won best goalkeeper award for Marvelous FC.
In U-13 category Peter Ezekiel won best caoch, while Adewole Kareem emerged as best goalkeeper as Oboh Emmanuel won most valuable player of the competition.
