Study on the Level of Competition in the Nigerian Telecommunications Industry.

The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has concluded all arrangements to hold a Stakeholder Consultative Forum on the level of competition in the voice and data segments of the Nigerian telecommunications industry.

According to the NCC, the Forum, which will be hosted with collaboration with PricewaterhouseCooper (PwC) is scheduled for Tuesday, 13 January 2026 at the Sheraton Hotel, Ikeja starting from 10am

“The forum will engage key stakeholders and obtain their inputs on the Commission’s competition assessment of the telecommunications sector.

“Competition in the telecommunications industry is important. It pushes operators to improve service quality, expand coverage, and invest in new technologies. With lower prices, a wider range of choices, and better customer service, consumers benefit when there is healthy competition in the telecommunications industry,” the NCC says
