Chairman of Badagry Divisional Football Association, BDFA, Martins Osondu has confirmed that club owners have started purchasing their registration forms ahead of BDFA-RAK League 2023/24 season.
Osondu disclosed to our correspondent that the association is targeting 32 teams ahead of the league being sponsored by RAK Development Foundation.
“Let me confirm to you that some club owners have purchased their registration forms with the sum of N40,000, while some promised to do so before this week runs out.presently some club owners from far and near are still calling me about the tournament and i told them the forms are still available for any interested club,”he said.
Commenting on the preparedness of the competition, Osondu who doubles as executive member of Lagos State Football Coaches Association said they have selected some designated centres for the league saying that inspection teams would begin to asses the present state of the venues soonest.
He explained further that this year BDFA-RAK League would be better organised in terms of coordinating, organisation, officiating and security measures and also assured the participating teams better officiating throughout the league.
Meanwhile the draws for BDFA-RAK League would hold on 30 March, while the league would kick off 13, April.
