Chekas United Begin Preparation For Lagos FA Cup And NLO Division One League

Chekas United Football Club of Festac would resume on Monday in preparation for the Lagos State challenge Cup known as Lagos FA Cup and Nationwide League One, NLO.

The two competitions would tentatively commence on February and April respectively.

Chekas United are currently holding open trials in Anambra State and only selected players would join the club in Lagos next week.

Chairman of the club,Chekwube Uzoegbo confirmed to our correspondent that the club are presently in Anambra State as they are expected to resume training on Monday in preparation for the future competitions such as Lagos FA Cup, NLO League, scouting football programmes and other high profile football tournaments in the state.

“The club would officially resume on Monday but presently I am in Anambra State with some coaches for football trials where selected players would be invited to Lagos to join the club.

“We have started our preparation for Lagos FA Cup and other future competitions in earnest and we want to surpass what we really achieved in last year,”he said.

The football administrator however urged the players and coaching crew to remain foucused and show high level of commitment to the club saying that any player or coach fails to meet the club expectations would be shown the exit door.
