Ibrahim Olawoyin who is currently playing for Turkish division one side, Caykur Rizespor FC has donated sports equipment that worth millions of naira to his boyhood club, Joint Football Club of Badagry.
Olawoyin who started his football career with Joint FC years ago before he travelled for professional football shipped the sports equipment to the country and was received by the club founder, Dr Martins Osondu.
Osondu in a chat with our correspondent expressed delight with the sports equipment received from his former player and prayed for his successful career in the Turkish league.
“On behalf of the management staff, coaching crew and entire players of Joint Football Club, we appreciate our very own player, Ibrahim Olawoyin for his kind gesture by sending the club sports equipment as a way of his own contribution to the growth and development of the players in the club.
“This kind gesture would motivate the coaching crew and players to do better and i pray and wish Olawoyin a successful and injury free throughout his stay in Turkish league,” he said.
