Capital Market: SEC Holds Enlightenment Clinic For Lagos Sports Commission Staff

In a significant display of commitment to human capital development, the Lagos State Sports Commission in collaboration with the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) Nigeria conducted a day enlightenment programme and investor clinics themed ‘Market Development Opportunity” for its Management and Staff on securities exchange and capital market at the SEC Nigeria.

The event took place at the SEC Lagos Zonal Office at Adeola Odeku, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The Director General, Lagos State Sports Commission, Lekan Fatodu represented by Director, Administration & Human Resources, Omoloju Olusegun said the programme is to the advantage of commission that serves as an enlightment program which will equip staff on sporting ecosystem.

Speaking at the training, Datodu appreciated SEC for investing in the growth and development to make the participants better and well informed about the capital market, he said.

Fatodu commended the efforts of SEC for the initiative in bridging the knowledge gap, providing adequate information needed for investments.

One of the major highlights from the Enlightenment program is to adopt a financing sports infrastructure through bond issuance and other fundraising strategies for sports development.
