Four teams are fully ready to fight for the final ticket as Bet9ja Ibeju-Lekki Cup enters semi final stage on Sunday at the Bogije football pitch,Ibeju-Lekki,Lagos.
In the semi final fixtures released by the organisers,Noble Star FC battle Star To Academy by noon, while Success FC face Bright Stars FC by 2pm.
The winners in each match would proceed to the final stage The tournament is sponsored by Bet9ja Betting Comoany.
Match cordinator, Victor Akinmoyo expressed gratitude to God for hitch free tournament from the beginning and urged the remaining four teams to play the game according to the rules and regulations.
“We are now in very crucial stage of the tournament and I must thank all the participating teams for the spirit of sportsmanship displayed since competition started some weeks ago.
“However, we are looking forward to the exciting semi final matches and we promise that all the teams would be given level playground in area of officiating,”he said.
Commenting on the standard of the competition so far, Akinmoyo who doubles as Leader of Ibeju-Lekki Football Coaches Council said all the matches lived up to expectations and urged the football fans in Ibeju-Lekki and its environs to come out in large numbers for semi final matches comes on Sunday afternoon.
“A lot of talents have been discovered in this tournament because all matches live up to expectations.Also all the teams play well but presently we have best four teams emerged into semi final stage and I wish all of them best of luck in their outings comes on Sunday,”he concluded.
