Members of Badagry Divisional Football Association (BDFA) have agreed to commence the much anticipated Badagry Divisional Football League on 13, April, 2024 across the designated centres.
The league is put together by Badagry Divisional Football Association in conjunction with RAK Development Foundation.
Chairman BDFA, Martins Osondu in a statement confirmed that registrations are in progress for any team that are interested in the league and thanked RAK Development Foundation for its support of the league in the last three years.
“It is my pleasure to announce to our football stakeholders in Badagry and its environs that our league would kick off on 13 April across the designated centres.We the executive members have decided to go ahead with the league and presently clubs have started registering with us.
“The league has sponsor and i want to use this medium to thank RAK Development Foundation for its moral and financial support given the league in the last three years and i strongly believe that this year would surpass the previous editions in terms of Organisation, officiating and coordination,”he said.
Osondu said the league is home and away format noted that draws for the league would hold on 30, March,2024.
He however reminded the teams that are not affiliate with division to do so saying that only the affiliate clubs would feature in the league.
