After almost a year he was elected as the Executive Chairman of Badagry Divisional Football Association, BDFA, Dr Martins Ibegbu Osondu has finally acquired a new building secretariat for the association worth of millions of naira.
The BDFA has no particular secretariat since establishment of the division 34 years ago. Osondu who was elected last year has really brought lots of innovation and progress in the division just under eleven months of reign as BDFA boss.
The new secretariat building has the Chairman and the Board members office.It also has the secretary office, the technical team office and the Disciplinary team investigation office.
In a chat with our correspondent after he returned from Abuja expressed gratitude to God for acquiring the new secretariat.
He said it is a shame that the division has no particular secretariat since its establishment and blamed the previous adminstration for not making effort to secure a place where executive board members can hold meeting and do other adminstrative works.
“The Badagry Divisional Football Association BDFA has been in existence for the past 34 years and by the Grace of God Almighty I want to announce that we have acquired our office for the first time since it’s existence.
“This is a good news for the members of the division and other football stakeholders in our division.The new secretariat has office equipments and we are looking forward to commissioning it.We have already informed all our invited guests and i am happy for the positive responses we got from them,”he said.
The BDFA first ever secretariat office will be officially opened this month of May and would be launched by the Commissioner For Youth and Social Development,Lagos FA Chairman and BDFA Patrons.
