Balo Win Ramadan Cup After Beating Sterling City

Prince Gas Ramadan Cup

Balo Football Club against all odds defeated Sterling City Football Club 1-0 in the Prince Gas Ramadan Cup Final to emerge as champions for the first time.

Balo boys got their winning goal in the first half while the second half witnessed missed scoring chances from both teams in the encounter held recently at the Sansan playground, Igando, Alimosho, Lagos.

During the award presentation,
Michael Olufemi of Future Stars 99 FC was adjudged as the Best Coach. Highest Goal scorer award went to Farouk Yusuf with 8 goals.

Dapo Bajowa from Balo FA won the Best Goal Keeper award Ashafa Jimoh from Igando Boys won the Youngest Player’s Award, and Anthony Akinrokun of Balo FA won the Most Valuable Player award.

Match coordinator, Prince Sulaiman Gbadamosi expressed gratitude to God for violent free competition and thanked those who contributed one way or the other to make this year’s edition a huge success.

“I appreciate Mr fruit Drinks, His Royal Majesty, Oba Ibrahim Olasunkanmi Olanwa of Isheri Kingdom, Mr Raheem Ganiu and Alhaji Chief Kazeem Bakinson for their contributions towards the success of the competition,” he said.
