All roads lead to Sansan football field, Igando, Alimosho, Lagos on Monday afternoon as Balo FC face Sterling City Football Club in the Prince Gas Ramadan Cup final.
To reach the final stage, Balo FC defeated Future Stars 2-0, while Sterling City FC also humbled Igando FC 2-0 in the second semi-final played recently
The two teams surprisingly defeated their opponents in the semis who are favourite to reach the final stage.
Fans are still in shock following the defeats of Future Stars and Igando FC after the scintillating performances in their group matches.
Some of the fans who spoke to our correspondent said the finalists were lucky in the tournament and wished them all the best in their final, while some fans believed that the finalists were underrated by their opponents to reach the final especially the Future Stars game against Balo FC in their semi-final match.
Meanwhile, match coordinator, Prince Sulaiman Gbadamosi expressed gratitude to God for the hitch-free tournament and congratulated the finalists for a job well done.
“We are set for the closing ceremony, and I thank God for the competition’s success. It was a huge success because throughout the tournament none of the players sustained any major Injury and I wish our finalists best of luck in the final stage,” he said.
