Badagry League: Organisers Assure Teams Of Good Officiating And Organisation

Organisers of the forthcoming Badagry Divisional Football League promised the participants good officiating and organisation throughout the league matches.

This was disclosed by the organisers at the 2023/2024 BDFA League draw ceremony held recently in Lagos

The league is organised by Badagry Divisional Football Association BDFA under the leadership of Martins Ibegbu Osondu.

A total of 46 clubs are expected to take part in the league.Teams were divided into four zones.The zones are Ojo 1 and II zone, Amuwo Odofin/Ajejromi Zone and Badagry zone.

BDFA boss, Osondu thanked the participants for their patience and understanding noted that the league would be better organised than previous editions.

He also said the league would be played in five centres and urged the teams to play the league according to the rules and regulations.

Chairman Technical Commiittee, Steven Degboe promised that all the league matches would be officiated by the certified refrees and reminded the teams to be of good conduct during and after their game.

While Chairman Disciplinary Commiittee, Usman Dauda said the era of match officials liase with teams before the game is over saying that any match official caught before or during a match would be banned and sanctioned accordingly.

One of the board members of BDFA, Mike Adebayo also warned the teams to desist from giving match officials money before their match.

He however cited some scenario that took place in previous league where some match officials are in payroll of some teams in Badagry saying that the BDFA under the leadership of Osondu is committed to ensure that all the participating teams in this year’s edition are treated fairly throughout the league.
