Liam’s Height Sports Academy on Thursday morning began their campaign in the ongoing Badagry Divisional Football League with resounding 4-0 victory over Royal Boys.
The encounter took place at Medical field Camp 4 OJO Barracks, Badagry Express Way, Lagos.
Okoyeocha Izuchukwu opened the goal scoring for Liam’s Height Sports Academy before Abeson Miracle scored the second goal.
The second half witnessed tactical game from Liam’s Height Sports Academy as they completely outplayed their opponents.
One goal each from Allison Izuchukwu and Adebayo Emmanuel was Liam’s Height Sports Academy needed to massacre their opponents in the pulsating tie watched by appreciable crowd.
Reacting to the victory, Liam’s Height Sports Academy Coach, Williams Azenabor expressed satisfaction with the team’s stunning performance and commended them for playing to instructions
“The boys really played to my instructions from the blast of whistle.My team played massive attack and massive defence which really worked for us.Infact I.commend them for playing to instructions and our victory was well deserved in our opening match,”he said.
Meanwhile, Liam’s Height Sports Academy would face Dream Chaser FC next Thursday in their second match.
Asked about his expectations in their next match, Azenabor expressed confidence that his boys would go all out for victory.
“I expect the boys to activate this same winning mentality in our next game, by approaching the game with total concentration,”he said.
