After several delays and postponement following the circumstances beyond the organisers, the BDFA-RAK Football League will finally commence this Saturday across various centres in Badagry division, Lagos.
A total of 41 teams are expected to battle for honours for the next one months in the division.
The league is organised by Badadry Divisonal Football League and sponsored by RAK Foundation.
In the match fixtures released by the technical committee headed by Steven Degboe, several matches would be played across zones on Saturday and charged the teams to play according to the rules and regulations
In Badagry zone, Group A, International FA battle Legend FC by 8am, while Topmost FC tackle New Era FC by 10am.
Two Matches would hold in Group B as GGSL welcome Lions feeders by 12noon, while Paslaw FC host Master FC by 2pm.
In Ojo zone, young Pro face Straightway FC by noon, while Potential FC tackle Franky Best by 2pm as Power Of De Cross welcome Leads United by 4pm in group A.
In Ojo zone, action would take place in group C. Young Stars host Emaljus by noon, while SC Heritage tackle Chekas United by 2pm as Isashi FC battle Royal FC by 4pm.
In Ajeromi zone, three matche have been lined up as Young Talented tackle Justice Glorious Intervention FC by 10am, while Top FC welcome Coljeny FC by noon. AJ Young Stars battle Global Light FA by 2pm.
Chairman Technical Commiittee of BDFA, Degboe urged the teams to come to their match venue on time and avoid lateness that might warrant walkover.
“We are ready for the league amd all the venues for the matches are in good shape.We technical commiittee would do our own part to ensure that teams comply to the laid down rules throughout the league, “he said.
Degboe said any team violates the rules would face disciplinary actions and admonished the coaches, players and fans to shun vices that can affect the image of the league.
“We are doing our best to make sure that all the teams are treated fairly. We are not interested in one club or the other but what we are interested in is to to see good football and see the best two teams in final, I wish all the teams best of luck in their outings” he concluded.
