Joint Football Club Friday morning recorded biggest win following 13-0 victory over Henzilion Football Club in the ongoing Badagry Divisional Football League.
The match which took place at Ashiribo playground, Badagry Expressway, Lagos was watched by mammoth crowd including some members of Badagry Divisonal Football Association.
It was a goal galore for Joint FC as Junior Abiodun was on rampage to score seven goals,Okwe Nwabiukwu who was at his best scored four goals, as Joel Tosin and Ebuka Obi scored one goal each to complete the onslaught at the full time.
Henzilion who lost three matches and drew one were not at their best as their opponents scored seven goals in half time to confirm their supremacy over them.
With this victory, Joint have 7 points on the table and need to win their last game to brighten their qualification.A draw would make them to wait for other results in the group to determine their qualification.
Join Coach, Akporeha Williams expressed delight with the team’s result and remained optimistic that his team would pick one of the two tickets in the group.
“Our victory was well deserved and we recorded biggest win in the league.We would try as much as possible to win our last game to qualify for the round of 16.We would not take any chances and we are going for victory in our last game, “he said.
