Chekas United defeated Inter Javed Football Club 1 -0 in the round of 16 in the ongoing Badagry Divisional Football League.
A goal from Emmanuel Abbah in the 63th minutes was all Chekas United needed to defeat their opponents on Friday morning at the Ashiribo playground, Badagry Expressway, Lagos.
With this victory, Chekas United progressed to the super eight with other clubs.
Alaska Football Club also booked a place in the super eight after defeating favourite, Power De Cross FC 4-3 on penalties after one goal apiece at the regulation time.
Other teams qualified are Legend FC, Paddysco, Young Stars,New Era, Diamond FC and AJ Young Talented FC.
The draws for super eight would hold by afternoon on Saturday at the BDFA secretariat.
The league is organised by Badagry Divisional Football Association and sponsored by RAK Foundation.
