Another round of league matches will take place in the Premier League, Serie A, and Laliga this weekend.
The biggest match of the lot will be in the Premier League, where treble winners, Manchester City will face Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium. All the weekend action will be available to customers on DStv Compact and GOtv Supa+.
Arsenal are yet to defeat Manchester City in a league match since Pep Guardiola came to England seven seasons ago. The gunners ran out of steam to finish second behind City last season, having topped the table for the majority of the campaign.
Arteta’s men however managed to edge the Citizens in the Community Shield in August, courtesy of a penalty shootout. Both sides are struggling with injuries to key players ahead of the tie. Kevin Debryne is currently out on a long-term injury, while Rodri is suspended. Arsenal are battling with the fitness of their star man, Bukayo Saka, while Gabriel Martinelli is also a serious doubt.
Manchester City suffered their first league defeat of the season away at Wolves last week but remains top of the table with 18 points from 7 matches. Arsenal are yet to lose a league match this season and are currently third in the table with 17 points. Tune in to SuperSport Premier League (DStv ch 203 and GOtv ch 66) at 4:30pm on Sunday to watch the match live.
