Organisers of Ikeja Divisional Council under West of Lagos State Football Coaches Association have unveiled programme activities for their event tagged ‘AMIOA Day‘
The much anticipated event would hold on 1 May, 2025 at Bishop Aggrey Memorial School, Ilasamaja, Mushin, Lagos.
Five football coaches council under Ikeja Divisional Football Council such as Alimosho, Agege, Ikeja, Oshodi/Isolo and Mushin came together and tagged the event ‘AMIOA Day’
The Chairman Organising Committee, Musbau Oseni told our correspondent that the AMIOA Day would witness coaching seminar, football tournament among five councils, networking and award recognition.
Oseni said the AMIOA Day is the first of its kind in Lagos, saying that the essence of the event is to foster strong bond and friendship among the coaches under the five councils.
“Like I said in my first interview, the five councils agreed to work together and concluded to organise a programme that would bring all the councils together which is AMIOA Day.
“It is going to be an entertaining, educative and sporting event.And also our members would have the opportunity to interract with one another by exchanging ideas and exchange of programmes during the AMIOA Day.
Oseni, who doubles as Chairman of MS Success FC, however, urged the coaches to take AMIOA Day with all seriousness noting that coaches would benefit a lot throughout the programme.
