Following the health and other challenges facing many football coaches in Nigeria, Alimosho Football Coaches Council in Lagos has concluded plans to organise Health, Safety & Business Workshop as part of council’s effort to educate its members about their health and safety in the course of duty.
The much-anticipated programme would hold on 29 May 2025 by 10am at the DG Dynamic Hotel, Abaranje, Alimosho, Lagos.
In a statement copied our correspondent, the council under the leadership of Samuel Uchenna Eke said the workshop is necessary following the pressure comes with the coaching job and urged his members to be among the participants for the one-day programme.
Eke in the statement said the council has contacted two resource persons that would talk on various issues concerning health, safety and business.
According to him, Osarhiemen Abraham would talk on ‘First Aid and CPR training,’ while Mr Adebayo Segun would address the participants on ‘Unlocking Football’s Hidden Economy Business Opportunities and Digital Innovation for Grassroots Coaches’
The council leader however highlighted the importance of the workshop and reinstated his commitment to the welfare of its members.
