Alimosho Football Coaches Council Organises U-12 & 14 Holiday Tourneys

Aa part of keeping the children busy during their holiday, Alimosho Football Coaches Council kicked off U-12 and 14 for football academies in Alimosho and its environs.

The U-12 category which kicked off on Wednesday at the AJ football pitch, Egan, Alimosho, Lagos involved four academies.

In the opening match, IGFC suffered 1-4 in the hands of Sammy Academy while Pro Foot forced Samjason to play 1-1 draw.

Actions resume on Thursday, Sammy face Samjason by 2pm, while Pro Foot tackle IGFC by 3:30pm.

In U-14 category whick began last week has reached the semi final stage on Thursday.

In the semi final pairing released by the organisers,IGFC face White Soccer Temple by 10am, as Samjason battle B.United Academy by 11:30am.

Chairman U-12 Organising Committee, Toyin Shoyemi said the tournament was organised to keep the children busy and catch them young at the tender ages.

“We organise the tournament to give the young players an opportunity to showcase their talents and bring them to limelight. I am quite impressed with the performance of all the teams and i hope to see best teams in the final in both categories,” he said.
