It has been confirmed that Alimosho Football Coaches Council Day will be held on Saturday by 2pm at the DG Dynamic Hotel, Abaranje, Alimosho, Lagos.
The Alimosho Football Coaches Council Day is put together by the Alimosho Football Coaches Council to celebrate the achievements and honour some coaches in the council who contributed immensely to the growth and development of football not only in Alimosho but Lagos at large in the year 2024.
Speaking ahead of the Alimosho Football Coaches Council Day, the leader of the council, Samuel Uchenna Eke said arrangements have been concluded to organise a befitting and memorable event and urged the council members to come out in large numbers to support the event.
“We are celebrating the achievements and honour our coaches who really did well in the year 2024.It is our programme and we need to celebrate some of our coaches who brought honour and glory to the council.
“Part of what we are going to do on that day is to organise a coaching seminar for our members and ensure that certificates of participation are issued after the seminar,” he said.
Eke disclosed that the council has already started by giving part sponsorship to seven coaches in this month’s NIS special course which begins on Saturday.
He added that the council is planning to organise the U-16, U-14, and U-12 championships and the free age championship scheduled to hold later in the year.
