Immediate past secretary of Alimosho Football Coaches Council, Mohammed Aberejo has bowed to pressure as he has just withdrawn the resignation letter tendered March 7,2023 to the executive council, pointed out that his tenure was expired which made him to vacate the office.
In a statement, Aberejo stated that he had withdrawn his resignation letter and returned to his position due to the new development taken place in the council.
“This is to inform my colleagues in various councils in the Lagos state that I have withdrawn my resignation letter and returned to my position as secretary of the noble council. I rescinded my decision because of development happening in the council.
” I would like to remain in my position as the secretary of the council. I sincerely apologize for any inconveniences that my action might have causedmy colleagues in the last few weeks. Thank you all for the pleasant cooperation,” the statement reads.
Meanwhile, the council would soon conduct elections into various executive positions in days to come as some members in the council are beginning to show interest.
Asked Aberejo if he is interested to contest for any position, the coach of Igando Football Academy said, he is still monitoring the situation saying that he is not interested in any position for now.
“I am not yet declared my intention to contest for any position but if i want to contest i will let you know in due course.Presently let me maintain my position as secretary and see what would happen in next few days,”he said.
