No fewer than 32 teams have registered online for the fourth edition of Seamoriow U-15 League Championship, which kicks off on 25 August, 2025 at the Seamoriow Sports Complex, Abaranje Road, Alimosho, Lagos.
Organisers are expected to pick 16 teams for the annual football tournament, which is being sponsored by the Chairman of Seamoriow Football Club, Seyi Amos.
B United Football Academy of Alimosho won the last edition and they are expected to defend the title, while the championship kicks off next month.
Others would be selected base on their football pedigree, good character of the teams an meet the requirements of the organisers.
Commenting on the competition, the cup donor confirmed to our correspondent that as at now, clubs are still showing interest saying that the registration would close on 7, August.
“We cannot go beyond 16 teams format and I know that a lot of academies and clubs from far and near want to play in our competition but the organisers have their targets and only the teams that meet the requirements would be selected at the end of the screening exercise,” he said.
